Master R.K. Bharat

Chief Executive Officer, Indian Combat League (ICL)

Master R.K. Bharat serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Combat League (ICL), the pioneering platform for Amateur and Sports Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in India. He officially founded the ICL in 2021 with the vision to create a structured, competitive, and globally recognized combat sports ecosystem for Indian athletes.

Martial Arts Journey & Achievements

Master Bharat began his martial arts journey in Shotokan Karate at the age of 7. His dedication and discipline led him to earn his Black Belt from the All India Karate Federation in 2010. Over the years, he has achieved outstanding success as:

·        Multiple-time National Karate Champion

·        Gold Medalist, 2016 World Martial Arts Games (Johannesburg, South Africa)

·        Silver Medalist, 2017 World Martial Arts Games (Florida, USA)

·        Coach, Indian Team, 2019 World Martial Arts Games (London, UK)

He currently holds a 4th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a Black Belt (Level-2) in Mixed Martial Arts, certified by the International Association of Combative Sports (IACS).

Professional Roles & Responsibilities

·        Chief Executive Officer, Indian Combat League (ICL)

o   Oversees the overall strategy, planning, and execution of ICL events and competitions.

o   Ensures fair play, safety, and professional conduct in all matches.

o   Leads the expansion of ICL across national and international platforms.

·        Director & MMA Trainer, National Martial Arts Academy (NMAA) India

o   Designs and supervises MMA training programs for athletes and coaches.

o   Promotes fitness education and technical excellence in martial arts training.

·        General Secretary, National Martial Arts Committee (NMAC) India

o   Coordinates with the Asian Martial Arts Games Committee and World Martial Arts Games Committee.

o   Manages national sports development projects and combat sports awareness programs.

Mohammad Sami (Hyderabad)

Chairman, Technical Committee 

·        Supervises technical operations, fight rules, and regulations.

·        Ensures referee and judge training meets international standards.

·        Maintains integrity and uniformity in scoring systems.

Arpita Kundu (Haryana)

Chairman, Public Relations Commission 

·        Manages public relations, media coverage, and communication strategies.

·        Strengthens the league’s brand visibility across digital and traditional platforms.

·        Builds partnerships with sports organizations and sponsors.

Sushil Sharma (Uttar Pradesh)

Coordinator 

·        Coordinates event logistics, athlete registration, and on-ground operations.

·        Assists in scheduling, venue management, and team coordination.

·        Supports smooth communication between management and participants.

Pankaj Kardam (Uttar Pradesh)

Managing Director 

·        Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and sponsorship management.

·        Develops administrative systems and long-term strategic plans.

·        Ensures operational efficiency across all ICL departments.

Preety Sarkar (Assam)

Secretary, Administration Department 

·        Manages office administration, records, and documentation.

·        Supports compliance with federation policies and event regulations.
