The prestigious “Indian Combat League – Season 10” was successfully organized at the Boxing Hall, Parade Ground Stadium, Dehradun under the aegis of the National Martial Arts Committee – India® (NMAC-India).

The event witnessed participation from over 200 athletes representing 18 states across India, showcasing extraordinary talent, discipline, and sportsmanship.


🎯 Event Highlights

The tournament was inaugurated by Chief Guest – IPS Rajeev Swaroop, IGP Garhwal Range (Dehradun).
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest – Mr. Mahesh Negi, President, Uttarakhand Olympic Association, who felicitated the winners and praised their outstanding performances.

Special Guests included:

Mr. Harish Kothari (PRO to Chief Minister, Uttarakhand)

Master B.K. Bharat (President, Asian Martial Arts Games Committee)

Prof. Krishna Gopal (HOD, Medical College, Meerut)

All dignitaries appreciated the growing popularity of martial arts in India and encouraged youth to embrace sports as a way of life.

🛡️ Technical & Organizational Leadership

The event’s Technical Head was Mohammad Sami, under whose guidance the competition ran smoothly.

Chief Referee: Mohammad Saeed
Central Referee: Sushil Sharma
Referees: Ravinder Jakhar (Haryana), Vikram Singh (Uttar Pradesh), and Preeti Sarkar (Assam)

The event was dynamically hosted by Arpita Kundu Jakhar (Haryana), whose energetic anchoring added charm to the occasion.

The league was conducted under the supervision of NMAC-India, which is affiliated with the Asian Martial Arts Games Committee, World Martial Arts Games Committee, and TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All) – an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The purpose of the league is to promote Traditional, Contact, and Sports Martial Arts across India and to encourage the youth towards discipline, self-defense, and leadership through sports.

Mr. Satish Joshi, President – NMAC India, stated:

“The Indian Combat League provides a national platform for Indian martial artists to showcase their skill and spirit. Our goal is to place Indian martial arts on the world combat map and empower athletes to represent India globally.”

“This event reflects the growing strength of martial arts in India. Beyond being a sport, it’s a medium of character building, self-defense, and national pride.”
